Getting There

group flights

We’re excited to share that we’ve secured two group flights that depart from Newark and JFK to St. Maarten for the wedding weekend in Anguilla. Reservations need to be booked through our partner travel agency managing the group block. Please note upon arrival in St. Maarten all necessary sea and ground transfers will be provided for the group traveling on these flights – more transportation details to come!

Please be advised that you are booking a seat on a group flight and therefore the traditional process is not the same as a general commercial flight. Group flights are only available as a roundtripWe highly recommend you read all details below and reference the Flight FAQs if you have any questions. For any questions regarding booking flights, please contact our travel partner at gstravel@ciretravel.com.

alternative flights

We know a group flight may not be the best option for everyone and several of our guests might be looking to connect into Anguilla or depart from Miami directly. If you’re flying from somewhere other than New York or Miami please know that the best travel option will be to connect through Miami. Please see below for some alternative flights we would recommend to those guests.  If you are flying in on one of these alternative flights and require assistance booking ground transportation – please reach out to danielleandmatt2025@rafanellievents.com.

Travel Questions

How will registration work?

A link is posted on our wedding website that goes to a secure form where our travel partner collects all your info. Please have your passport, credit card, frequent flier number, and TSA PreCheck number handy!

Can I mix and match flights? For example, fly down on JetBlue and return on United?

No. The group flight contracts prohibit this.

How do I pay for the flights?

Your credit card information is required on the registration form. Your card will be charged mid to late March, and you’ll receive your flight confirmation and credit card receipt at the end of March/early April. Our travel partner cannot accept any other form of payment.

Can I request a window/aisle seat or sit with my partner?

Yes, but because this is a group flight, this can’t be guaranteed. Our travel team will do their best!

Will I get a confirmation once I register?

Yes, our travel agent will send an email confirming they have received your registration. You will also receive your flight information and credit card receipt via email after booking at the

end of March/early April.

What if I don’t receive an email from the travel agent?

As a reminder, you should receive an automatic message confirming your successful registration on the flight immediately after filling out the form. You will receive an additional email with your flight information and credit card receipt at the end of March/early April. If you do not receive these messages, please check your junk folder. If you don’t see the first email from our travel agent by the end of the next business day after you register, you can email them directly at gstravel@ciretravel.com.

What if the flight option I want is no longer available?

Unfortunately, we have a limited number of seats reserved on the group flights. If your preferred flight is no longer available, hopefully the other group flight will work for you. If not, you’ll need to find another option and book directly with the airlines.

What if I miss the registration cut-off dates?

If you miss the deadlines for the group flights, you’ll need to book flights on your own directly with the airlines.

Can I add my frequent flier number to my reservation?

Yes, there’s a space on the registration form to add your JetBlue or United Airlines frequent flier number.

Can I add my TSA Precheck number to my reservation?

Yes, there’s a space on the registration form to add your TSA Precheck number.

Can I use points to book my flight or upgrade?

No. If you want to use points or book a comfort class, business class, or first-class ticket, you should book directly with the airline. If you do end up booking one of the group flights, once you receive your confirmation in end of March/early April you can try logging on to the airline website to see if you can upgrade your seat with cash/points. This is not guaranteed, though.

Can I carry on or do I need to check my luggage on the group flights?

JetBlue has a restriction that anyone on a group flight MUST check their luggage. You can bring a personal item onboard, but carry-ons are prohibited. It’s a weird rule…we know! If you’re on the United flight, you’ll be fine to carry on or check. Additional costs may apply for checked bags. Once you receive your flight confirmation, you can go to the airline website to pay for luggage.

Can I pay at the time of registration for a checked bag?

No. Once you receive your flight confirmation, you can go to the airline website to pay for luggage. Additionally, JetBlue has a restriction that anyone on a group flight MUST check their luggage. You can bring a personal item onboard, but carry-ons are prohibited. It’s a weird rule…we know!

What if there’s an error on my flight confirmation?

If you see a discrepancy on your flight confirmation, please email our travel partner at gstravel@ciretravel.com and they’ll assist.

What if I have to cancel my flight after I’ve already registered?

If you need to cancel your flight for whatever reason, please email our travel partner at gstravel@ciretravel.com. They’ll inform you of any fees, penalties, or travel credits.
